Healing unlocks our potential and guides us toward our best possible self. Reaching our potential can be defined in many ways, removing blocks to creativity, finding love, maintaining healthy relationships or feeling purpose in our home, community and career. Emily brings decades of experience in the healing arts to guide and support clients in accessing their deepest potential through a breath work technique that helps increase clarity, creativity and joy.
She has worked extensively with non-profit organizations, behavioral health treatment centers, educational institutions and prison reentry programs as a clinical director, trainer, coach, therapist, group facilitator and curriculum specialist. She specializes in trauma-informed individual sessions and groups using action methods such as psychodrama, sociometry, mindfulness, somatic techniques, breath work and expressive arts to educate clients on maintaining healthy relationships, managing stress, addressing un-helpful behaviors related to addictions, codependency and many of the other life challenges that can affect mental health.
